We are a racer-focused and family-oriented organization, dedicated to providing a safe, quality program for your child to learn to ski race.  The Holiday Race Team is a "learn-to-race" program focusing on slalom and giant slalom race formats.  We are not a "learn to ski" program: children must be able to ski, turn, stop and ride the chairlift independently (or be accompanied by a parent).  Racers will participate in home and away races as well as race instruction at Mt. Holiday.

Our Mission

To promote skiing and ski racing by providing the latest technical knowledge using enthusiastic coaches who emphasize proper training in a positive manner.

Our Philosophy

At Holiday Race Team, we and our coaches de-emphasize competition and results, letting high athletic performance become the result of proper skills development in a great environment.  While we strive for success each race day, the program is geared to prepare athletes and their respective parent(s) for high school racing and to develop life-long skiers.

Our Program Goals

bullet Individual development, tightly coupled with team work and sportsmanship during training and racing.
bullet A community-based program that will nurture the relationship between the Holiday Race Team and other teams in our community including ski clubs and high school teams.
