Please note that the Holiday Race Team is a "Learn to Race" program and not
a "Learn to Ski" program. All racers must be able to start, stop, and
board the chairlift. A racer may be assisted on the lift by a parent.
Please contact us with any questions.

Parent Volunteers - HRT is a family-oriented race team - and we request
each family to volunteer their time to work at least two HRT races
held at Mt. Holiday during the eight-week racing season. Training is
held for all positions and volunteers do not need to know how to ski.
Through your volunteer efforts, the entire HRT family has an opportunity to
participate and support our young racers and the Holiday Race Team.

 | Ski
Equipment - If you don't see the right piece of equipment at a local Ski Swap, we
suggest you purchase ski equipment from a local ski shop - they extend
discounts to HRT racers, just ask! See our forms page for a list of
required equipment. |

Invitational races are held at local resorts
(Schuss Mountain, Nubs Nob, Boyne Highlands). For invitational races
with limits on team participation, we will use the standings from our home
races to determine which racers will attend. Racers that do not qualify
in their age division will always be allowed the opportunity to race in an
older age division (i.e. "ski up") if space is available. Invitational
schedules are determined prior to the start of the race season and the races
require additional fees. Transportation to all meets is the
responsibility of the racer. Check out the 2012 Calendar to see
details on our training sessions, home races, and invitational races.
