This scholarship was established through the generous contributions of many people throughout this community as well as family and friends of Tucker’s and the Byl family from around the country.  The scholarship is administered through the Grand Traverse Regional Community Foundation.

The goal of this scholarship is to continue to fund Tucker’s passion of teaching young skiers how to ski race at Mt. Holiday through assistance to those who have the spirit and passion, but not the economic means to do so.

Tucker raced for the Traverse City Central High School Trojans for three seasons (2005 – 2007) and coached the 0-7 age group in the 2006 and 2007 seasons for the Holiday Race Team (HRT).

This scholarship is available to all HRT age groups and includes Holiday Race Team fees and lift tickets at Mt. Holiday on scheduled instruction and race days.  Fees for invitational races are not included.

Consideration and scholarship awards are based on individual economic need as determined by three (3) members of the scholarship advisory committee.
