2/25/12 - Race #1 make-up date.  Registration at 9:30, inspection at 10. 

2/25/12 - Snowmaker Challenge Forms Due!

2/26/12 - Family Fun & Awards Day - Dual course racing starts at Noon, Team photo at 1:30, Awards & Lunch at 2:00.

Week of 2/27 - Practice Schedule for Top 5 Qualifiers in each group.  Cost is $10 per night.  Wed/Thurs/Fri from 5:30 to 7:00.

3/4/12 - Welborn Cup Race at Boyne Highlands

You should see all the FUN prizes (over $1,500) we have collected to give away this Sunday to HRT kids who bring in donations for our Snowmaker Challenge!  Remember:  for every $5 raised you get 1 ticket in the prize bucket (up to $100)
So let's say you raise $100- that's 20 chances to win some pretty sweet swag!  And!  For every $100 raised you get 1 ticket in the ultimate prize bucket- awesome prizes await those winners!

Coach Eric will draw the winners starting at 2:00 this Sunday.

The Welborn Cup

The Welborn Cup - Sunday, March 4th.  
The Welborn Cup is the northern Michigan junior ski club championship held at Boyne Highlands, with 6 competing clubs.  Racers compete for both individual and team overall awards. HRT preliminary qualifying racer rankings are posted see link.

Racers
Clubs are allowed to bring the top 5 racers in each category.  The rules do allow for racers to "race-up" into the next age category.   For your part, please check your calendar and see if you will be able to join us that weekend.  If your racer is invited through ranking or race-up qualification, we will need an answer as quickly as possible for registration purposes.  Remember, this is an individual and team competition- EVERY racer counts towards our overall score!

It is a lot of information, and we'll help with any questions along the way.  Just know, it is a great event- a great way to celebrate the end of the season, and we have many families who come every year- whether their racers qualify or not- just to wrap up the season as a family at Boyne Highlands!  Discounted ski tickets are available. Tickets must be picked up at Boyne Highlands ticket booth very early on Sunday morning (HRT is not responsible for handing out tickets). More information to come!
